Stories That Connect Us: Looking Back at NDACH 2026

Between 24th and 30th September, we visited a variety of care settings across Kent and London to celebrate the National Day of Arts in Care Homes (NDACH). Centred on this year’s theme, "Stories That Connect Us," our Songwriting Workshops explored what it truly means to connect through song—turning personal memories into shared music and giving many residents a creative voice to share parts of their stories in real-time, with music as the companion.
Beyond standard entertainment, these interactive sessions brought residents together to reminisce, sing timeless classics, and co-write original songs that reflect connection and being human!

By Popular Demand: Workshops Continue!
Although NDACH 2026 took place last month, the overwhelming feedback and wonderful response from residents and staff showed us just how powerful these sessions are. Because of this fantastic demand, we are continuing to offer our Songwriting Workshops throughout the year!
If you missed out during NDACH week or want to bring this creative experience back to your residents, we would love to visit your setting.
